Thinking of developing some of your domains? This is a great time to do it!

This 4th of July long weekend is Independence Day for the USA and to celebrate, SiteGround is offering a pretty big sale on hosting plans. The sale offers up to 70% off their hosting plans and runs just for a few days: from July 1, 2017 to July 4, 2017. This special sale is available for those in the USA only. Not in the US? Don’t worry, we have some other options for you below!

The reason I like SiteGround is that they are highly reputable and their shared hosting plans offer everything you need to get started with hosting your domains with ease. They have cPanel and Softaculous bundled in shared hosting, features which are an absolute must for anyone but especially those handling multiple domains. For a single domain, all you’ll need is their lowest plan level called Startup. For two or more domains, you’ll want the next step up: the GrowBig plan. You can compare SiteGround shared hosting plans here.

Usually I recommend saving your hard-earned cash and starting out on the minimum plan level that fulfills your immediate needs, then upgrade your plan as needed. But with a big sale like this you have the option to save in the long run by getting a fancier plan locked in at a cheap price point; you can always then downgrade to a lower plan at renewal time if necessary.

Not in the US? Here are some other suggestions for you.

Yes it’s US Independence Day, but still, it would have been nice if SiteGround had offered this sale out to international customers. Rest assured, there are other options for you!

If you want to start developing one or more of your domains, the best alternative I recommend is A2 Hosting. I have one of my sites there myself, and I can attest that it is crazy-fast even on the very lowest level of shared hosting. I’m paying under $5 a month for that! A2 is simply one of the best hosting companies out there, and their pricing is incredibly low. A2 Hosting also has cPanel and Softaculous on shared hosting; these are must-have features that make managing your sites a piece of cake:

Another option is, even if you’re overseas, to still check out SiteGround for their offerings. You might be pleasantly surprised at how low their prices are. This is because I’ve noticed that their standard introductory pricing is still much lower than those of comparable reputable hosts, even in situations where a special sale isn’t available.
